Marty Cagan

Marty Cagan is the founder of the Silicon Valley Product Group (SVPG), where he advises and coaches product leaders and teams around the world on building outstanding, customer-centric products. Prior to founding SVPG, he held executive roles at Hewlett-Packard, Netscape, and eBay, where he led the definition and delivery of innovative software solutions.
Earlier in his career, Marty served as a software developer at HP Laboratories and later worked at Netscape under co-founder Marc Andreessen, helping shape key platform and e-commerce products during the early days of the internet. He has performed or managed virtually every function in modern product organizations and is an in-demand speaker at leading conferences.
Marty is a graduate of the Stanford University Executive Institute, and is the author of TRANSFORMED, INSPIRED, and EMPOWERED.
