Beyond exploration: Structuring AI for an Augmented Design Process

AI can boost every step of our workflow. At Malt, we plunged into this excitement with enthusiasm. But we quickly realized that the abundance of solutions created a new challenge: dispersion. We fall back into the classic trap: focus on a solution - multiple solutions - before clearly defining the problem to be solved and prioritizing according to the impact. In this talk, I am sharing with you how we transformed this phase of experimentation into an organized exploration. We applied our own discovery methods to our design team. By mapping our Designer Journey, we identified the real points of friction to deliver high added value solutions: transform 500 user interviews into actionable insights, exploit the gold mine of sales calls or even allow designers to intervene directly in the codebase to accelerate QA.Discover our approach to move from a “tool-first” to “value-first” paradigm.
